Beef Ragu with pasta Thermomix
360 g of pasta
400 g of beef, diced
600 g of canned crushed tomatoes
20 g of Parmesan cheese
100 g of onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic
30 g of olive oil
2 teaspoons of salt
A pinch of freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon of sugar
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Initial Preparation: Start by grating the Parmesan cheese. Place the cheese in the Thermomix bowl and grate for 10 seconds at speed 10. Once grated, remove it from the bowl and set it aside in a bowl for later use.
Onion and Garlic Sauté: In the same Thermomix bowl, add the onion, garlic cloves, and olive oil. Chop for 3 seconds at speed 5. This mixture will form the aromatic base of our ragù.
Cooking the Beef Ragù: Add the diced beef to the bowl, along with the crushed tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of salt, pepper, and sugar. Set the Thermomix to 100°C for 35 minutes, with reverse rotation and spoon speed. This will allow the flavors to blend perfectly and the beef to slowly cook until tender and juicy.
Pasta Preparation: While the ragù is cooking, heat water in a large pot with a teaspoon of salt. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions, usually for 3 to 4 minutes to achieve an al dente texture. Once cooked, drain the pasta and pour it into a large, deep dish.
Finishing and Serving: Once the beef ragù is ready, mix it with the cooked pasta in the dish. Generously sprinkle with the reserved grated Parmesan cheese and serve immediately, ensuring each portion is full of flavor and delight
